Bioswales are a beautiful attribute within a community - visually pleasing and calming. But the purpose is as equally important, assisting drainage in highly impervious coverage areas with flow and distribution. Also refer to as Low-Impact design, some Florida communities are including such design opportunities in their land development regulations.

I'm so thankful for this group, and all those not pictured here. Working as a team to serve Florida planners has been something I've been involved with for about 25 years. The passion, grit, and determination of those in our profession is bar none, and I thank them all for it.
