Hi everyone. Many of you knew that my mom was very influential in starting this company. She loved it and bragged on us so often! I am reposting some information here.

This is a post I was hoping to never make. On February 11th at 6:30am my mom passed away peacefully at home with her loved ones around her.

She asked for no funeral. She wanted everyone around the country to think about her or do something in memory of her at the same time. We have chosen her birthday April 30th for this memory day. 2:00pm central time.

If anyone would like to honor her separately we ask that you donate to your local homeless shelter. (She helped start Renew Our Community in Rock Hill, SC. It has now become Bethel day Shelter.)

Below I will list some of her favorite things for ideas of how to honor her.

Also, I would love it personally if people posted to her facebook or this one memories they have of her or pictures or whatever fills your heart with love of her.

Favorite color-blue
Favorite flowers-daisies and yellow tulips
Favorite games-Farkle and Gin
Favorite music-soft jazz, Tom Jones, Jose Feliciano, Mannheim Steamroller, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass
Favorite poem-The Desiderata
Favorite place-the beach
Favorite passtime-travel. Read about it, learn new things, watch a movie or make plans to travel.
Favorite foods (you will notice she had a huge sweet tooth!)-unsweetened ice tea with sweetner, diet coke, bear claw donuts, hostess cupcakes, ice cream drumsticks, hot fudge sundays, chocolate, Ambrosia, McDonald’s fish sandwiches
