A cat walks into a café, orders a coffee and a slice of cake.
The waiter just stands there with his mouth open.
Cat: “What?”
Waiter: “Uh… you’re a cat!”
Cat: “Yeah.”
Waiter: “And… you can talk!”
Cat: “Well, that’s breaking news. Are you going to bring my order or just stare at me?”
Waiter: “Oh! I’m so sorry, of course. I just… I’ve never seen anything like this before.”
Cat: “That’s probably because I’ve never been here before. I just had a job interview, figured I’d grab a coffee.”
The waiter comes back with the order and sees the cat furiously typing on a laptop.
Waiter: “Here’s your coffee. Uh… I was just thinking… since you’re looking for a job, my uncle runs a circus. He’d love to hire you. Great salary!”
Cat: “A circus? You mean — big tent, orchestra, ring in the middle?”
Waiter: “Exactly!”
Cat: “Clowns, acrobats, elephants?”
Waiter: “Yes, yes, yes!”
Cat: “Cotton candy, popcorn, lollipops?”
Waiter: “All of it!”
Cat: “Sounds amazing. But tell me one thing…” leans closer “…what the hell would they need a programmer for?”
