🔥Fun in the sun Judging some good Texas BBQ. Next-level talent, incredible hospitality, and some of the best brisket I’ve had lately. Huge thanks to the city & Murphy’s Backyard BBQ event for having me out to judge this year. As someone who lives and breathes the food industry, I can honestly say the talent on display was next level—everyone absolutely killed it!

Ready to get messy for the cause! 🍖🔥

I am beyond excited to announce that I’ll be heading to Murphy’s Backyard BBQ Competition as a guest judge! As a foodie insider & total BBQ enthusiast, there is nothing I love more than the smell of woodsmoke and the passion of local pitmasters. This community-driven event is going to be incredible, and I’m honored to help crown the Brisket and People’s Choice Champs! 🏆
If you love good food and even better vibes, you need to be here. Here is everything you need to know:
🗓️ THE GAME PLAN
📍Murphy Central Park
• Saturday, April 25: The main event!
• 12:00 PM: Brisket judging & beer sampling starts.
• 12:30 – 2:30 PM: People’s Choice Tasting (Come help me judge! 😉)
• 2:30 PM: Awards/Winners announced—up to $2,500 in prizes on the line!

🍺 BEER GARDEN:
Backyard Kitchen & Cocktails is hosting a killer tasting. Grab a card for just $5 to sample from 5 different breweries (10 total breweries on site!).
• Note: Must be 21+ for tasting cards.
🎸 VIBES & PARKING
Admission is FREE, and we’ll have live music from Justin Ross & Deadwood Revival starting at 1:00 PM.
Pro-Tip on Parking:
• Primary: PSA North Lot (330 N Murphy Rd)
• Overflow: Tom Kimbrough Stadium (700 N Murphy Rd)

Need some tacos in your life? 🌮

Tried out the new spot by the casa. La Taqueria Guadalupana… I needed some legit tacos in my vida. 💯
Ordered one of each to give a thorough review. 😜 Everything was amazing. Eats, service and ambiance! Big thanks to Veronica for the hospitality.
They got some things going on for Cinco de Mayo!🎉
