Exciting improvements are coming to our wastewater system thanks to Governor Kay Ivey, Commissioner Chris Blankenship, and the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources!
Governor Ivey recently announced more than $52 million in GoMESA funding for 21 projects across Coastal Alabama — including $800,000 for Riviera Utilities’ Coastal Wastewater Resiliency Improvement Project.
This investment will help Riviera make improvements that add another layer of protection and resiliency to our wastewater system and the natural resources around us.
We’re grateful to Governor Ivey and Commissioner Chris Blankenship for their leadership, support, and commitment to investing in the future of Coastal Alabama.
We’re proud to play a small part in a much bigger effort to keep our coast strong, resilient, and thriving.
