After over 15 years of on-and-off dating through various apps, I finally met my husband online. While my story does have a happy ending, the journey to get there was long, frustrating, and felt anything but personal. That tiring
experience inspired the idea for Off The App—a local, in-person alternative to swipe culture. Based in De Pere, Wisconsin, my mission is to host fun, safe, and well-organized events where singles can meet face-to-face in a way that feels natural—not forced. I believe that the foundation of any great relationship starts with authenticity and shared experience, whether it leads to romance or simply a meaningful conversation. I’m here to help people rediscover what connection really feels like. While real relationships can easily begin in an inbox; They can certainly begin across the table, in your own community—with people who are just as ready and hopeful as you are.
