Last week, Senior Consultant Courtney had an incredible day coaching Hayli and Taylor from through our Orthodontic Insurance & Financials Master Class. 🧡

Last week, I had the pleasure of spending a fun-filled day with Monica and Hong at Crafted Orthodontics! 🧡

These two amazing clinical assistants joined me for my Front Desk Success Master Class, where we focused on new patient phone calls, scheduling, welcome tours, role-playing, and creating an exceptional new patient experience.

The best part? We wrapped up the day by taking a REAL new patient phone call and successfully converting it into a consultation scheduled for this week! 🎉👏

Last week, I had the honor and pleasure of lecturing for the wonderful doctors and teams of the San Diego Academy of Orthodontists in — you guessed it — beautiful sunny San Diego, California! ☀️🌴

Joining me on stage was my dear friend and colleague Nicole Goldfarb , who gave an incredible lecture on orofacial myofunctional therapy. 🧡

My lecture:
“From Reactive Stress to Proactive Leadership — How Leadership, Systems & Accountability Create Confident and Empowered Teams.” ✨
One of the biggest messages I shared is this:
Great teams don’t happen by accident. They are intentionally built. 🙌

So often, burnout is actually a systems problem disguised as a team problem. And when we believe the team is the problem, leadership and management can quickly become reactive and chaotic internally. Doctors become overwhelmed and burned out, and teams feel like hamsters on a wheel just trying to survive the day.
