What an incredible evening at Therapalooza 2026! We were so grateful to see such a wonderful turnout from our Columbia Connectors members as we came together to support our 2026 Charity of the Year, The Therapy Place, Inc.

The Therapy Place makes a meaningful difference for children and families in our community by providing vital therapy services and support. We are especially proud to have Dawn Darby, Executive Director of The Therapy Place, as a valued member of Columbia Connectors. Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported the cause, and helped make the night so special! 💙🎪

Dawn’s leadership and dedication continue to make a meaningful impact on children and families in our community. The Therapy Place is on an incredible growth journey, expanding its resources and capabilities to better support families of children with complex needs.

We were also so excited to celebrate Dawn at Therapalooza 2026 as the surprise, and very deserving, recipient of the Davis Award! Congratulations, Dawn, and thank you for all you do for The Therapy Place and our community. 💙

Columbia Connectors is excited to help spread the word about Startup Sprint, happening November 13–14 at the Boyd Innovation Center in partnership with Columbia International University!

This free, 24-hour entrepreneurship experience brings aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and professionals together to form teams, develop startup ideas, create prototypes, and learn from experienced founders and industry mentors. The event will conclude with each team pitching its idea to a panel of judges.

Startup Sprint is also seeking local businesses and individuals interested in supporting this exciting opportunity. Sponsorships from $250–$1,000, along with in-kind support, will help keep the experience completely free for participants. Sponsorship commitments are needed by October 8.
