We loved spending the morning with Trae Judy at Finlay Park, building relationships, enjoying meaningful conversations, and taking in one of Columbia’s most beautiful spaces. Trae shared an informative update on the park’s current amenities and exciting future developments! 🌳

It was also a special opportunity to introduce our new Coordinator, Kate Bodel!

Last evening, the Columbia Connectors gathered for our August social at the new Bang Back Bar & Grill on Rosewood Drive — a welcome addition to the former Rockaway’s location!

We enjoyed great food, games, and plenty of laughs! Most importantly, we were reminded that some of the best business relationships are built simply by spending time together and getting to know the people behind the business.

This week, the Columbia Connectors gathered for our annual kickoff meeting! Founder Jeff Lawler spoke about our mission – to facilitate business connections by developing meaningful relationships. Our Executive Committee gave a glimpse into the events planned for the rest of 2026.

This past weekend, the Columbia Connectors beat the heat the best way we know how... our annual Chill & Grill Pool Party! 🏊👙

Turns out real referrals happen a lot easier without a name tag (a little sunscreen wouldn't have hurt either 😅).

Huge thank you to Beth Frost for opening up her pool and hosting the whole crew. We're grateful for every member who showed up and brought that same spirit of genuine connection to the pool that they bring to every meeting. ☀️

Another great Columbia Connectors coffee meeting is in the books! ☕

Thank you to our featured presenters, Grainne Owen of Curing Kids Cancer and David Condon of Senior Care Authority, for sharing the incredible work they do to support individuals and families in our community. While their organizations serve people at different stages of life, both presentations highlighted the importance of compassion, trusted guidance, and being there when people need it most. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

We're also grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make our first coffee meeting in our new space such a success. The conversations, connections, and support shared each month are what make Columbia Connectors so special.
