FireSafe38.org, the Mill Creek Canyon Fire Safe Council, is looking forward to joining our neighbors at the Forest Falls Community Safety Fair on Saturday, August 29.

Stop by our table, say hello, ask questions, and pick up practical wildfire preparedness resources for you, your home, and our mountain community.

We are amidst another prolonged heat wave. This isnt going to be a prutal high 100s hwta wave but this is going to brinf triple digits to the valleys and deserts and 80-90 in mountains depending in elevation. Although this wont be a severly potent heat wave.. any prolonged can or will contribute to elevated wildfire risk and any fire has potential to spread rapidly due to bone dry fuels. Stay safe and be vigilant
