We are so excited to invite you all to our Oysters & Rosé party on Friday, June 26th - From 4-6PM!

Tickets are $60 a person, or $55 for Club Members! To purchase tickets, email [email protected] or call the tasting room at (503) 992-8545.

What's Included?

All-you-can-eat raw oysters provided by Haystack Shellfish Co. out of Netarts, OR. Plus a complimentary glass of David Hill Rosé and other small bites. (cucumber salad, bread, etc.)

Optionally you may add on a specially curated flight of other wine pairings for only $15!

One of our favorite blends at David Hill is the 6000 B.C. orange wine.

Using Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Riesling, we ferment these grapes with their skins, which creates the beautiful orange color as well as providing textures and flavors unique to this wine.

David Hill Vineyards has some very interesting varietals to offer! When Charles Coury brought cuttings over from Alsace in the 1960's, he wasn't sure exactly which varietals would thrive, but he had a good working theory. We are grateful that he decided to bring such interesting cuttings back to Oregon because they are still thriving today.

Pictured are 3 of these such varietals:
🍇Melon de Bourgogne
🍇Sylvaner
🍇Semillon

Each with their own delicious characteristics. If these names are new to you, come by the tasting room and we would be happy to tell you all about them!

Melon de Bourgogne pairs perfectly with oysters and almost all seafoods with its fuller body from extended lees contact and present citrus. Sylvaner has a nice minerality with notes of cara cara orange and would pair nicely with a fresh salad with goat cheese. The Semillon we know works beautifully with a classic spicy Thai basil stir fry!

As far as red wine grapes at David Hill, we have Pinot Noir. Why mess with a good thing? Our BlackJack Pinot Noir is made from 100% Coury Clones from the Estate. BlackJack is our biggest boldest Pinot Noir. Showing notes of dark fruits and forest floor.

We love to pair BlackJack with a good friend on a beautiful day. ❤️🍷
