It is with bittersweet sadness that we begin the day.
After 42 years in business, we bid farewell to our customers and friends. Tom Sr. is retiring and our employees begin the new chapter of our lives.
Although we are closing our business, we hold dear the knowledge that our material is only just beginning the lives in landscapes around the country, and will for generations.

It is really starting to feel like fall.
A nice chill in the air, tagging trees while hearing geese fly overhead, and hacking my lungs out from the cold my daughters have generously shared with me.

This has been a whirlwind year!
The papers for the sale of the nursery were signed in February.
Spring shipping stretched well into May, thanks in part to an incredibly wet spring.
This summer we started out pulling trees from the ground to clear land for the new owners. Turns out they don't have time to clean up or manage it, so we get another year ON ALL THE GROUND!

Now, here it is, the middle of August and we are well on our way through our last inventory.
This inventory list will look the same to many of you, to some of our larger customers, you will also get one broken into blocks (between 10-20 acres). The blocks will be available for purchase as a whole for deep discounts.

Stay tuned for the inventory list and get your orders in early, the only way to guarantee your material will be available.
