WIA Goes to Washington… Again! – 2026 DC Fly-In

WIA members traveled to D.C. for a full day of meetings with Members of Congress and their staff. Working alongside WIA Government Affairs Consultant Patrick Rita, attendees met with representatives from their home states and districts, tackling a busy schedule that left little downtime. Throughout the day, participants made the case for the wood industry on issues ranging from trade and tax policy to workforce development, education, and sustainability, along with other topics critical to wood and manufacturing businesses.
