Just because it’s brand new, doesn’t mean it works. This is a brand new Chinese carburetor. Customer probably bought it from Amazon for $25. This unit would not run with the choke off. He pulled his hair out before he finally called me. This customer had to pay $520 for a new OEM carburetor, and it runs perfectly now. Not to mention the labor and mileage to come out for the repair. Then, I was on my way home today, and a guy asked if I could fix his quad. “It’s just a couple connectors that don’t line up right” he said. He had an electrical problem, so he bought a “new” chinese wire harness. The only way I’m touching it, is if we put an OEM harness on it. $200. Moral of the story: DON’T BUY CHEAP CHINESE CRAP! You’re not saving money. It’s going to cost you more in the long run

This is when your FCR carburetor needs a mid body rebuild. The o-ring swells and closes off the bypass port for the pilot circuit. This bike ran perfect afterwards. I was even able to drop the pilot jet one size since it was finally getting enough fuel.
