We connected recently with Wisconsin Public Radio to discuss how the pandemic affected small businesses and how it ultimately led to the creation of 2020 Evolve. Many people across the nation took the pandemic as a time to reflect. For some, that meant following their passions and starting new businesses after losing or leaving jobs. But starting a business, and succeeding, is easier said than done.

The Small Business Development Center at UW-Whitewater is a great resource for entrepreneurs and business owners. I visited Ron Chisholm at the UW-Whitewater office and discovered a toolkit that has been valuable for 2020 Evolve and the businesses we work with.
