Nobody warned us that half the fun of having chickens would be documenting their every move.

How many photos of the exact same chicken do you have in your camera roll? Asking for absolutely no reason. **ptana

Of course the cutest ghost has a mom. And apparently, she needed her moment too.

The ghost photoshoot trend has officially become a family affair. We weren’t about to put a sheet over a baby chick, so we got a little creative instead.

The chickens are real, the ghosts are edited, and at this point, we might as well get the whole flock involved.

The tiniest addition to the chicken ghost photoshoot trend. Please tell us someone has done this with a whole flock. We need to see it.

Fall feed room decisions are officially here.

If you could pick ONE for your horse heading into colder weather, what’s getting your vote?

A, B, C or… obviously D?

Hempseed oil makes that last one pretty easy. **ptana

Cold mornings are creeping back in, which means we’re thinking about what’s going in the feed bucket a little differently.

A little extra fat, naturally occurring omegas, and an easy pour? Hempseed oil earns its spot this time of year.

Who’s already switched into winter feeding mode? **ptana

We could listen to her talk horses all day.

Hemptana Hempseed Oil has been in the routine through her mare being in foal and beyond, and hearing why she keeps reaching for it (plus the fact that her horses actually like it) is exactly the kind of thing we love hearing.

A little love for Tenley for sharing this one with us.

We’ve been waiting for another Kenny update. 🥹

He cares so much about his chickens, and getting to check in every so often and see how they’re doing has become one of our favorite little stories to follow.

The chicks are growing, Kenny’s collecting eggs, and clearly everyone is in good hands.

Okay, who else has a friend who takes their chicken duties VERY seriously?
