We produce classic varietals from old Mendocino County Heritage vineyards that include Zinfandel, Charbono, Carignane, Petite Sirah & Barbera. White wines include Chardonnay, Viognier and Muscato. We are open Friday through Monday from 12 to 5 and can be found 12 miles north of the town of Fort Bragg at the 73.5 mile marker west of Coast Highway 1. Bring a picnic lunch and stay awhile at our cliff

-side picnic area, where you can see 75 miles of the northern California coastline and watch whales during the migration season.

Well, no view of the eclipse here today. Lots of seals feeding out front of Dad's Bench. I wonder if we'll see whales? Guess it depends on what the seals are having and if they'll share!

No wind, an easy on the eyes day. Grab a picnic and come on out....or pick up salami and cheese here to nosh on while you enjoy a glass of wine!

It is NOT looking good for seeing the Eclipse here at the winery. Overcast all day Sunday....and the forecast doesn't look for Monday. I'll post again about 7am and let you if we have high overcast or clear skies!!!

ECLIPSE.... Pacific Star Winery will open at 9am on Monday August21 at 9am for viewing the Solar Eclipse !! BYOVG (Bring Your Own Viewing Glasses)....We will have a few Solar Eclipse Viewing Boxes available to share and see the Eclipse by shadow. The picture is from the May 2012 Eclipse as viewed from our coast. We'll start posting at 8am as to the weather/clouds/fog at the Winery....so check back to see how the view will be from here!
