Here is a garden bed that I converted dirt bed to a rock bed. I started by leveling the bed and sloped it slightly so water moves down and away from the foundation of the house. Client had me keep the original border - I was able to straighten the border to make mowing easier.

There are cons to using fabric like this near your foundation that my client was aware of - Water can pool above the fabric particularly in a heavy storm and lead to foundation damage. This bed has a long roof overhang so the risk here in particular is low.

Here is another rain barrel adapter I installed, After picture is first. The adapter splits the water from downspout to both drain into the ground and diverts into the rain barrel. It comes with an adapter cap (pictured) for if/when you choose to remove the hose. This kit my client purchased did not come with a hose, so they bought that part and popped it on after this install.

Here are 3 Oversized landfill hauls I've done this past year. I roll slow and use all my straps when hauling loads this size. I also travel with moving blankets to protect my truck when necessary, primarily to pad my roof when loading on top of it. I now have a 6'x10' trailer with a ramp, significantly increasing my ability to haul large loads.

Here are a few hauls I've done this year -

The first pic is of un-split wood - I haul firewood each winter to remote Navajo communities of Black Mesa who subsist primarily on firewood for heating and cooking. I've also hauled water a handful of times for these communities. This tank held 225 gallons or ~ 1800lbs of water, and was hauled about 30 miles unpaved and low managed dirt roads.

The scooter I've hauled to the only mechanic who can service it regionally, between Fort Collins and Denver a few times.

Client hired me to help move cut sod and haul to re-set at a friend's home. Client rented a sod cutter that I hauled to the site. I did not operate the sod cutter, but helped carry, haul, and place at the new location about 30 miles away. This took about 5 truckloads to complete (2 trucks) - with my new trailer we likely could have done this in 1 drive with the 2 trucks and trailer.

We did this later in the season than recommended in late September, but despite timing the grass took beautifully as seen in Pic 1. Pic 2 is the yard post sod cutting. Pics 3-8 are the in between pics! Client has since been xeriscaping the yard, planning to finish project this season.

I was hired to remove this tree last summer. Client told me it was diseased and prone to spread to other trees. I was able to safely cut down and remove the tree and load into my truck in about 15 minutes using a pair of telescoping loppers, handsaw and a ladder. I now have a chain saw for slightly larger tree jobs. Client also had me save a long branch (pic 3) for him to later craft into a walking stick.

Here is a hydro row machine I was hired to move. This weighed 145lbs and was over 7 feet long. I called on a friend and we were able to move it pretty quickly down two flights of stairs and around pretty tight corners. The basement door opened up to a hallway so it was a narrow fit - we were able to do it without removing the closet or basement door. We shuffled all necessary furniture and obstacles along the way before beginning the move, and reset everything when we were done.

Here's a dining table and chair set I assembled for a client I helped move. It was nice to have an empty room carpeted room to set up and assemble in, so much space!

Here are 4 Ikea bookshelves and top extensions (top 2 shelves) I assembled for a client. I only took one before in pic 3. I was able to assemble these shelves side by side to save time, and mounted them to the wall at the top of each shelf.
