At age three, Diego Maradona was given a football, and football was given a gift in return. 👇👀
Many talk about his seemingly extraterrestrial talent, but from the moment he received that football, it became his passion and his focus.
Imagine the countless hours of practice, or the billions of touches he took from age 3 to the 1986 World Cup (what many regard as his peak).
Of course he was undeniably talented, but people only get so far with talent alone.
What seperates those who achieve incredible levels of performance is the immense level of focus, commitment and devotion to their goal, or craft.
People achieve these levels because the achievement itself means so much more to them, than the amount of work required to achieve it.
Ultimately for goals to be achieved, they've got to really matter to you. Otherwise you simply won't be willing to do what's required to achieve them.
