As the year begins to turn, I’ve been reflecting on the many ways this work unfolded.
Through rooms alive with connection, quiet online spaces, shared meals, brave conversations, and moments of deep listening, it feels like looking back on a tapestry woven slowly, thread by thread.

In January, a small group of women gathered into my mentorship program. Over the months that followed, we built trust and explored the art of circle together. In the spring, we came together in person for a practice retreat. Those days felt grounding and quietly transformative — a reminder of how powerful it is to learn and practice in the field together.

Closer to home, I had the joy of facilitating a local circle here at the Lotus Room. Around the same time, a virtual circle began to take shape as well. Gathering women from across the country to connect, reflect, and deepen together — despite the miles between us — has been unexpectedly intimate and nourishing.

This fall brought two full retreats, each with its own distinct energy. Both were marked by a shared willingness to slow down, listen more closely, and remember what becomes possible when we step out of our individual lives and into collective presence.

I also had the opportunity to work with a group practice in California, traveling to Tahoe to facilitate their staff retreat and later supporting the launch of their group program. Watching that work take root and grow has been deeply gratifying.

What stands out most as I look back is the hope and joy this work continues to offer, especially in the midst of such challenging times. Connecting with others who care deeply about creating opportunities to gather, slow down, and be together in meaningful, nourishing ways has been profoundly sustaining. Again and again, I’m reminded that even now — perhaps especially now — there is something deeply life-giving about coming together with intention and heart.

As I turn toward the year ahead, I’m holding a sense of spaciousness and curiosity, listening for what wants to emerge.

With so much gratitude for this wider web and all the ways our paths have crossed. 🤍

I’m excited to share a new episode of The Web, featuring a thoughtful and illuminating conversation with Ryan Spencer, LMFT, Certified Group Psychotherapist, and Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association.

Ryan brings a depth of experience in process groups, modern analytic approaches, and clinician training, and he has a gift for explaining the subtle dynamics that make group work so powerful.

Together, we explore:

✨What contact function means in modern analytic and process-oriented group work
✨How reaching, withdrawing, and returning shape the group experience
✨The ways facilitators can attune to subtle relational cues to support safety and deepen the work
✨How understanding contact function can enhance both clinical insight and group leadership
✨Practical examples of how this shows up in real-time group process

This episode is a great fit for anyone who works with groups—or is simply fascinated by the relational alchemy that emerges when people come together with intention.

I just returned from the first of two retreats I’m facilitating this fall — and I’m still feeling the beauty and depth of what we created together.

As I reflected afterward, one thing became clear: the ease and connection we experienced didn’t happen by chance.

They were rooted in the groundwork that began long before we arrived — the quiet, intentional preparation that helps each retreat take shape in just the way it needs to.

In this week’s episode of The Web, “Before We Gather: What Most Retreat Leaders Miss,” I share how I prepare the field before each retreat — meeting with first-time participants, attuning to returning ones, and listening for the unique energy each circle carries.

If you lead groups or retreats, I hope this episode inspires you to tend the field before the circle even begins.

✨ New episode of The Web ✨

This past year, I’ve been learning to do less, but better — in life, home, and business.

In this episode, I’m sharing how essentialism is reshaping everything from Circle to how I prepare retreats.

🌿 Letting go of the extra
🏡 Finding clarity in simplicity
🌀 Why less really is more

This isn’t about perfection — it’s about creating space for what matters most.

Episode 3 is here and it’s such a special one.

I sat down with three amazing women from The Well and The Nest, gathered around a small table in my office.

The intimacy and connection between them is palpable—and what they share is so real.

We talk about what drew them to Circle, what surprised them, and how this work has shaped their lives and relationships.

✨ New Episode ✨ “This Changed Everything” is out now.

In this honest and heart-opening conversation, I sit down with my dear friend and colleague, Maggie Robbins, a gifted therapist whose life and practice were forever changed by stepping into Circle.

We talk about what first drew her in, what surprised her, and how this way of gathering has deepened her clinical work — and her life.

If you’ve ever felt the quiet ache for something more… more connection, more aliveness, more you in the work — this one’s for you.

• Why Circle felt like a missing piece after years as a therapist
• Three powerful ways Circle deepens healing in ways traditional models often can’t
