Everyone says they want visibility until they are actually in it.⁣

Then all the things you thought you had worked through show up. The insecurity around being seen. The habit of consuming everyone else’s content until you cannot hear your own voice anymore. The slow creep of editing out the most human parts of yourself to be more palatable, more professional, more like what you think a brand is supposed to look like.⁣

Before I could create again I had to change my relationship with all of it. What I was consuming, what I was editing out, and what I actually believed about whether I was worth being seen in the first place.⁣

Last week I walked into a room as a panelist and left as a student.⁣

That is what community does when you let it.⁣

A few things I am still thinking about from the NOCO Women in Business Summer Social event.⁣
⁣
✨The most magnetic energy in that room belonged to the women who were just getting started. There is something about little kid eyes in business, the playfulness, the optimism, the wide open excitement of someone who has not been burned yet, that is genuinely one of the most inspiring things to be around. ⁣
⁣
It reminded me that somewhere along the way most of us trade that aliveness for strategy. Worth protecting.⁣
⁣
✨Stories connect us. Tell your story.⁣
⁣
✨Every single woman in that room showed up despite something. Fear of public speaking. Fear of walking into an event alone. Fear of not being enough to be in a room full of incredible humans. That kind of courage does not get talked about enough. Showing up is the whole thing.⁣
⁣
Tony Robbins says “new level new devil.” It does not matter if you are brand new or twenty years in, team of one or team of a hundred. The opposition changes but it never disappears. What changes is your relationship to it.⁣

The work I do exists because of rooms like that one. Helping people step into their light especially inside the businesses they have built and are so proud of is the whole reason I am here.⁣

Beyond that the market mirrors what you believe about yourself. Which means if you have never done a real honest look at what makes you genuinely different in your space, your content, sales conversations and sometimes client delivery will feel like performance even when the strategy is locked in. And performance gets old fast, for you and for the people watching.⁣

Your Sphere of Influence is the thing underneath all of it. The mastery you are not fully claiming. The essence you keep editing out. The origin story you have been sitting on. The genius you give away for free because it comes so naturally you forgot it was rare.⁣

When you activate all four your message stops being something you push out and starts being something people are pulled toward. Conviction is magnetic. Connection is magnetic. And you cannot fake either of them.⁣

Back in 2018 I followed the ping to create something outside of the business I had built over nine and a half years. On paper it was successful and I knew what I had created could keep going. But deep down I was not sure I wanted it to.

I accidentally built a personal brand on trial and error and absolutely cringe worthy content at times. Back then I really did not care if I sucked because I was having fun figuring it out as I went.

11 ways to build it like it’s $50 milly before it is⁣

1. Write your SOPs early. A business that only lives in your head cannot scale and cannot sell.⁣

2. Create a consistent client experience. Decide what it looks and feels like and document it so everyone on your team delivers it the same way.⁣

3. Ask for feedback regularly. Your clients will tell you everything you need to know if you give them the space to say it.⁣

4. Keep your accounting pristine. Hire a bookkeeper and a tax professional from the very beginning. Worth every penny.⁣
