Congratulations Karisha Melissa Summers & Nick Eggers!! 🎉 Wishing you all the love and happiness!

It’s been 2 and a half years since COVID- 19 shut down the world.

During that time, businesses and schools were closed and normal events like concerts and weddings had to be postponed for safety sake.

That got photographer Libby Gargano of the Grey Collective thinking about how to make the delay a little better for at least one couple. She called wedding planner Barb Vonsak and from there the plan to provide wedding services for one front line worker were ready to roll.


The other businesses that jumped on board to help were Fort Frenzy donating the reception hall, DJ Jared Hansen with the music, the attire was provided by Annie’s Bridal and Sew Formal, a discount on food from Olde Bostons, Heather Hruska donated cake and cupcakes and to remember the big day, video by Brock Adams.

Credit to Choice Printing, Modern Grey, Sadie Anderson and Good Morning Goodnight for adding the finishing touches on invitations and makeup.

Next up was finding a couple to spoil. After nominations were submitted, Karisha Summers.. and Nick Eggers were chosen.

Vonsak says watching people have to postpone their big days was tough but necessary.

Now this weekend, with the help of all of the collaborating businesses who were affected in many ways by Covid shutdowns, the couple who had to put their wedding on hold will walk down the aisle.
