Engineering on a massive scale this week! 🏗️⚡

Step 1: Bring in a huge crane.
Step 2: Use it to build an even BIGGER crane.
Step 3: Cut a hole in the roof (we are here)
Step 4: Lift a massive HSB tank through the roof.
Step 5: Celebrate a job well (and safely) done

We’ve already got the roof prepped and the hole cut. Now, we watch the pros do what they do best. A huge thank you to the crane and rigging crews on site keeping this massive operation running smoothly and safely!

Stay tuned in the next week or two as we see the mega crane in action.

We are incredibly proud to team up with the community and sponsor the St. Edmond 4th-grade baseball team this season! Investing in local youth sports is one of our favorite ways to give back, and we couldn’t be happier to support these hard-working kids as they take the field.

We stopped by to drop off our corporate sponsorship, and let’s just say the team's excitement level was at an all-time high. In fact, they might be a little too eager to get to work—we almost had to call security because one enthusiastic player tried to make a run for it with the giant presentation check! We admire the hustle, but we're pretty sure the bank's drive-thru wouldn't accept a piece of cardboard bigger than the kid holding it.

Best of luck to the Gaels this season! We can't wait to watch you play, learn, and hit it out of the park. Have fun out there, boys!

It was an honor for the CJ Bio America team to roll up our sleeves alongside the Fort Dodge Noon Sertoma group! 🇺🇸

We were proud to help clean the Veterans Memorial this week to ensure it is ready for Memorial Day. Giving back to our local community and showing respect for our veterans is a core part of who we are.

A huge thank you to the Noon Sertoma group for the recognition—we are grateful for the opportunity to support such a meaningful project right here in our backyard.

Thanks CJ Bio for doing some cleanup and polishing at Veterans Memorial Park. You continue giving back to the community.

We are beyond proud to congratulate the 11U Legends team on their massive victory at the Taco Tico Throwdown this past weekend!

These boys didn’t just play; they dominated, going undefeated across the entire tournament. But the real highlight wasn’t just the scoreboard—it was seeing the team honor their biggest fans in those special Mother’s Day uniforms. 🌸

At CJ Bio America, we love supporting the grit and teamwork that our local youth athletes display. Seeing those championship rings on their fingers (and those proud moms in the background!) makes it all worth it.

🌷 Happy May Day! 🌷

May Day, celebrated every May 1st, has ancient roots as a springtime festival of joy, renewal, and community — where people traditionally left surprise baskets of flowers and treats on their neighbors' doorsteps as a gesture of love and appreciation.

In that same spirit, the Fort Dodge Family Credit Union gifted all 260+ of our employees with May Day gift bags today — because appreciation should never wait for the "right moment."

Giving back feels good.

This week, our team had the privilege of volunteering at The Lord's Cupboard, helping hand out food to those in need right here in our community. Days like this remind us why we do what we do — not just as a company, but as people.

We are so grateful for the incredible work The Lord's Cupboard does every single day, and we were honored to play a small part in it. To everyone who received food — you matter, and we see you.

We are incredibly proud of our team members who stepped up last week to support our local Meals on Wheels program! These dedicated volunteers spent their time delivering nutritious meals and warm smiles to neighbors in our community who need a helping hand. At our company, we believe that being a good neighbor means taking action, and seeing our staff out in the field truly brings that mission to life.

What do chemical engineers actually do? Our Co-product Manager, Dr. Tyler Jordison, visited the Waukee Innovation & Learning Center (WILC) recently to give students a peek behind the curtain of amino acid production and the various specialties they can look forward to in the field.

To make the physics real, we brought some "heavy" demonstrations:

The Pressure Paradox: Demonstrating how vessel shape impacts PSI.

Suspension vs. Separation: We showed how two items can have the exact same water concentration, even when one appears suspended and the other separated.

Thank you to the Northwest High School STEM Club for the warm welcome and the great questions. We love sharing the science that powers our world! Also, thank you Iowa Biotechnology Association for the introduction and continued support for both companies and students!

A strong community is built on strong partnerships, and we were proud to continue our collaboration with Fort Dodge Senior High School by hosting another class tour this week. At CJ Bio, we believe being a good neighbor means opening our doors to show students the impact they can have right here in their hometown.

It was inspiring to see a group so focused and hungry for the knowledge required to become productive members of society. They explored the intersection of global trade and local production, asking the kind of insightful questions that show they are ready for the professional world. Our IT department added a special touch to the day, deploying a drone to capture a unique group shot of these future leaders. Thank you, FDSH, for another successful visit!
