**Job Opportunity: CDL Dump Truck Driver and General Laborer**
Are you an experienced and skilled CDL Dump Truck Driver looking for a new opportunity? Join our excavation business, a leader in underground utility installation, road reconstruction, site work, grading, erosion control, and cutting-edge GPS grading. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL Dump Truck Driver who is also willing to assist with occasional equipment operation and general labor tasks to become an integral part of our team.
**Position:** CDL Dump Truck Driver and General Laborer
**Location:** Fort Dodge, Iowa
**Responsibilities:**
- Safely operate and maneuver dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment
- Assist in loading and unloading materials onto the truck as required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck's mechanical soundness
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked
- Occasionally operate equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, or loaders
- Assist with general labor tasks, including site preparation, clean-up, and material handling
**Qualifications:**
- Valid CDL Class A or B license
- Proven experience as a dump truck driver
- Clean driving record with a strong focus on safety
- Ability to operate dump trucks in various weather and terrain conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Physical ability to load and unload materials and perform general labor tasks
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems is a plus
