✨ WHAT AN AMAZING DAY YESTERDAY! ✨

Yesterday was one of those days that reminded Aaron and me why we keep going. ❤️

Before our last employee left for the evening, she looked at us and said:

“I’m so proud of you guys. If nobody has told you that… wow. You make us proud to work here.”

Aaron and I looked at each other, honestly a little surprised, and simply said, “Thank you… but it’s God, not us.” 🙏🏽

Because the truth is, owning and running two businesses is NOT easy. There are sacrifices, long days, difficult decisions, unexpected challenges, and moments when you wonder if anybody truly sees how much goes into building something from the ground up.

But we are grateful for the opportunity to steward what God has entrusted to us. 🙌🏽

One of the hardest parts of being an employer is realizing that you won’t always be understood. Sometimes you’re the bad guy. Sometimes you’re the best boss ever. Sometimes people appreciate you, and sometimes people may lie, disappoint you, or even take advantage of your kindness.

And we’ve learned that being kind, giving people another chance, and going the extra mile doesn’t always produce the outcome you hope for.

But we’re still going to choose to do things God’s way.

Aaron and I have made a decision a longtime ago: we’re going to trust God, seek His direction, and let Him lead us. ❤️

Because this business isn’t just about ice cream.

It’s about people.
It’s about opportunity.
It’s about creating jobs.
It’s about serving our community.
It’s about building something our family can be proud of.
And most importantly, it’s about honoring God with what He has placed in our hands.

So on this beautiful Wednesday, we just want to say:

THANK YOU. 🥹❤️

To every customer who walks through our doors.
To every employee who gives their best.
To every person who shares our posts, tells a friend, brings their family, or celebrates our growth with us…

WE SEE YOU. WE APPRECIATE YOU. AND WE ARE SO GRATEFUL.

Yesterday was a reminder that sometimes the encouragement you need comes at exactly the right moment. 💛

We just sold out of strawberry cheesecake and Biscoff ice cream, but don’t worry we are making some now. We are going to have strawberry shortcake in the dip cabinet and more Biscoff for all our Biscoff and shortcake lovers.

🍦✨ After two flights we are here… AND WE ARE SO GRATEFUL. ✨🍦

Yesterday morning was one of those moments where we had to pause and say…

“God, look what You’re doing.” 🙏🏽

We had an early in-person facility meeting with Weber Flavors, a family-owned and operated flavoring company with a legacy that goes all the way back to 1902.

1902.

Just think about that for a moment.

A company that has been perfecting its craft for more than a century and yesterday , we had the opportunity to sit down, and do a deep dive, share our vision, and talk about how we can continue creating incredible flavors and memories for our customers.

And THIS is what makes us excited about where Aronka’s 5 Star Creations is going.

Because when you walk into our lounge and order for your restaurant you know you are getting a product that you can trust because we have already done the work.

🍦 A scoop of your favorite ice cream flavors.

But we see everything that goes into making that scoop special. We see the farmer picking vanilla beans in Mexico, the dairy supplier here in Texas, the chemist that creates the natural food colors for some of the favorite flavors. Perfect example of that is beet 🫜 root for that beautiful red color everyone loves.

We care about the ingredients.

We care about the flavor.

We care about consistency.

We care about freshness.

We care about the experience you have when you take that very first bite.

And we care about making sure that when you come back next week, next month, or next year…

your favorite flavor still tastes like YOUR favorite flavor. ❤️

We don’t want to take shortcuts.

We want to keep learning.

We want to keep improving.

We want to work with people who know what they’re doing and who share our commitment to creating something really good.

Because what we’re building is bigger than ice cream.

It’s about doing things the right way.

It’s about taking pride in our work.
