Here’s the secret: No two networking groups are the same! Even if they follow the same format, the vibe and value can vary greatly depending on who’s in the room. So, when evaluating a group, ask yourself: 1. Who is my ideal client? 2. Who are my ideal referral partners?
Networking isn’t just about selling directly to everyone you meet. It’s about connecting with people who can introduce you to your ideal clients. Think referral partners—those who serve your ideal clients but aren’t direct competitors. They can open doors you didn’t even know existed!

Leverage their networks. Ask for introductions once you’ve established trust.
Reciprocate. Networking is a two-way street—refer clients back to your partners.
