What a beautiful day to break ground. 🏠💙 Ten families. Ten future homes. One major milestone for our community.

In Broward County, where more than half of households are cost-burdened by housing expenses, the groundbreaking at Habitat for Humanity of Broward’s Moss Estates represents something very real: 10 local families moving one step closer to the stability and opportunity of affordable homeownership.

We’re so grateful to have celebrated alongside the sponsors, partners and supporters helping bring these homes to life. And this is only the beginning. We can’t wait to trade our shovels for hard hats during this fall’s build days!

Back-to-school season should feel exciting, and this one definitely did. 🎒 Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County brought Lace Up for Learning to life at Snyder Park, giving enrolled youth and their families a fun-filled day to celebrate the start of a new school year.

From field games, music and local vendors to a BBQ lunch, school supply kits from BBX Capital and brand-new sneakers courtesy of Ana G. Méndez University and Florida Girls Giving Back, the day was all about helping kids step into the school year feeling prepared, supported and ready for a BIG year ahead. 💙

And on National Nonprofit Day, it feels especially fitting to celebrate this milestone by recognizing the people who made these five years possible.

The clients who believed in us early. The nonprofit leaders who continue to trust us with big ideas, hard challenges and meaningful work. The partners, team members and friends who keep cheering us on. And the incredible organizations working every day to build stronger communities.

Five years, dozens of incredible clients and countless communities served later, we are more grateful than ever for this work and for everyone who has been part of our story.

The 2nd Annual Koze Sou Sante Mantal Summit brought together Haitian and Creole-speaking families, providers, advocates and community leaders to foster open conversations around mental health in a culturally responsive environment. When organizations listen first, lead with empathy and create space for every voice to be heard, they lay the foundation for trust, healing and lasting impact.
