What a powerful and heartwarming milestone for Habitat for Humanity of Broward 🏡✨
After six years of dedication, partnership and perseverance, BBI Village is officially home to 20 families in Fort Lauderdale. Watching these families receive their keys and celebrate this life-changing moment was truly special.

We are grateful to have been a part of this event as so many community partners came together for such a meaningful moment. We are so proud of Habitat Broward for continuing to create pathways to affordable homeownership and stronger communities.

Jessica Rodriguez had the privilege of joining Katie Mularz of the Emeril Lagasse Foundation at the Growing School Gardens Summit in Arizona, where more than 550 school garden educators gathered to learn and collaborate. Together, they shared practical fundraising strategies to help school garden and culinary education programs grow sustainable support.

We had the privilege of attending the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami’s Habitat Acres dedication of the first eight homes in what will become a 150-home community. Watching these families reach this milestone was powerful, but what stood out most was the sense of neighborhood already taking shape. As the homeowners gathered together, they began thanking one another, sharing their journeys and celebrating side by side

These are more than homes. This is the start of a community.

What brings people together more than great food, a waterfront sunset and an even better mission? We’re not sure because Hispanic Unity’s Second Annual Parrillada delivered all of it and more. From live music and incredible cuisine to powerful stories of impact, the night reflected exactly what HUF does best: unite people around opportunity and hope.
