US Flagged 50m Charter M/Y seeking an American or US Green Card holding Chief Stew to start ASAP. Yacht is locally based out of FLL with Charters in the Bahamas. Having recently completed very busy season, yacht will be locally docked with no owner usage or charters until November enabling new crew members to get acclimated to the vessel, other crew, and their department/position. Chief stew will work alongside a strong 2nd stew and rotate duties. Mature, professional, and hardworking yet fun crew with reputable charter program so charter experience is a must. Energetic, motivated, and service oriented candidates whom also have experience with the office/paperwork part of the job is preferable (APA, department accounting, spreadsheets, inventory, ect) so organization and attention to detail is key.
Crew does extremely well with repeat clients, tips, and bonuses. Ideal for someone who lives locally to south Florida as most of crew aren’t live aboard when in FLL. Part of the year will be low key but will also have a few months of busy charters (with days off in between and ability to go home.) Yacht doesn’t sit in Bahamas entire season and will cruise back to Florida when not in use.
