🇵🇱 August 1, 1944 – We Remember the Heroes of the Warsaw Uprising 🇵🇱

Today, we pause to honor the extraordinary courage of the men, women, and youth who participated in the Warsaw Uprising (Powstanie Warszawskie). At 5:00 PM, known as the “W Hour,” thousands of members of the Polish Home Army (Armia Krajowa), supported by brave civilians, rose against N**i German occupation in the hope of reclaiming their capital and restoring Poland’s freedom.

For 63 days, Warsaw stood as a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and the unbreakable spirit of the Polish nation. Although the uprising ended in tragedy and immense destruction, the bravery of those who fought became an enduring testament to the resilience of Poland and its people.

At CEETC – Central Eastern European Trade Center, we proudly remember the history that shaped Central and Eastern Europe. As we build bridges through international trade, innovation, investment, and cooperation, we also carry forward the values of freedom, perseverance, and respect for those who sacrificed everything for future generations.

Today, let us remember the soldiers, nurses, scouts, resistance fighters, and civilians who gave their lives for a free Poland.

May we never forget their courage.
May we honor their legacy through unity, integrity, and service.
May future generations always cherish the gift of freedom.

I came to this country with hope, ambition, and a dream of building something meaningful. America gave me the opportunity to grow, to lead, to create, and to serve others through CEETC. Every challenge has made me stronger, and every success has reminded me why I love this country.

As an immigrant, entrepreneur, and proud American, I am grateful every day for the freedom to dream big, work hard, and make a difference. I believe the American Dream is still alive for those willing to pursue it with courage and determination.

Mr. Suarez brings nearly three decades of distinguished federal leadership in international investigations, border security, financial crime prevention, and cross-border enforcement. His extensive experience collaborating with U.S. government agencies, international law enforcement partners, and global stakeholders strengthens CEETC’s mission of advancing international trade, investment, regulatory compliance, and strategic partnerships between Central and Eastern Europe, the United States, and the Americas Region.
