Meet Max Murphy 🤝

Max grew up in South Florida with salt water in his veins. Inspired by his father, a US Navy veteran, he trained aboard Coast Guard and Naval vessels through the US Naval Cadets before working on rental boats, dive boats, and fishing vessels in high school. After graduating, he worked as a mate competing in the Bahamas Billfish Championship, earned his USCG 100 Ton Captain’s License in 1999, and spent over two decades as the full time captain for one family, overseeing the operation and maintenance of multiple Viking Sportfish yachts.

In 2011 he earned his USCG 500 Ton Master’s License. Over the past seven years he’s built a reputation in yacht brokerage for honesty, market knowledge, and the kind of hands on technical expertise that only comes from someone with hands on experience running these boats for a living.

Now a Sales Broker with Autograph Yacht Group out of our Jupiter office, Max brings a rare combination of operational experience and brokerage knowledge to every client he serves.
