In July, Alessandra from MineTech Connect hosted an informal knowledge-sharing session with our GV team and GGMC Mine & Geoservices on mining finance modeling and what investors look for in mineral-sector projects!

While much of the Guyana Mineral Advancement & Prospecting Strategy (GMAPS) centers on field operations, this work on technological advancement, capacity building, and knowledge sharing is equally important in strengthening Guyana's mining sector long-term.

Last week, GV team members Insaf and Reshana attended and assisted at the lottery of medium scale properties, hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources through GGMC.

It's great to see this initiative helping to create new opportunities for stakeholders and new entrants in Guyana's mining sector. Our team is always glad to support events like this on the ground.

What a week at ! This international conference brings together thousands of geoscientists and industry experts from around the world to share the latest in exploration technology and research.

GV CEO Emily King presented on our work in Guyana, explaining how airborne geophysics programs help build a mineral inventory that supports responsible investment and exploration.

She also joined a panel on AI and machine learning in mineral exploration alongside other industry experts.

Phase one complete!

The Global Venture and Aqua Geo Frameworks team, working with Aries Aviation and Xcalibur Smart Mapping, has completed the first phase of the 2026 National Geophysical Survey of Guyana!

The team will resume acquiring airborne magnetics, radiometric, and gravity data after the rainy season in August.

Global Venture CEO, Emily King, was honored to meet with a distinguished delegation from the Dominican Republic in Guyana, including former Dominican Republic President Hipólito Mejía and Presidential Coordinator Tulio Rodríguez.

Meaningful discussions were held at the Dominican Embassy in Guyana on regional cooperation and new opportunities for partnership across the Caribbean and Latin America.
