Storm damage update!

Yesterday was incredibly busy and didn’t get to post anything or get many pictures.

One thing I forgot to mention Monday is no one was hurt when the tree came down. Thank God!

Big shout out to Valley Crane service for their prompt response to this job to help out this  Vietnam veteran. Their professional experienced operator was smooth as silk as always.

We got the remaining part of the tree out of the house without causing any further damage. We tacked down 2 tarps to try and keep the water out until the roof can get repaired. Unfortunately a lot of water got in during the storm. The homeowner is a veteran who bravely served our country during the Vietnam war and was an honor to be part of helping out. We truly owe our veterans much more than we can ever give. So thank you to all service men and women who have served and are currently serving our country to defend our freedoms!

This is just a small part of the storm damage that was done at this property but obviously was the most important. We will be continuing clean up of all the other trees that are totally wrecked and help get this property back in order.

Our continued thoughts and prayers are with them!

Another big shout out to our friends at Nicks Small Engine Repair. Got our pole saw back together. If you need any small engine repair work or looking for some used outdoor equipment, such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, w**d eaters, etc. give them a shout!

The mini skid definitely made this job a whole lot easier today. Took out a couple tall but skinny trees over a fence. (Among other work on this job.) The hackberry tree was growing so bent over the fence it looked like something from a dr. Seuss book. 😂 So it definitely had to go. Hung a rigging line in the bigger tree above the removals and tip tied the them then pulled the rigging line tight cut them from the ground and grabbed them with the branch manager. Don’t let the size of this Toro tx1000 fool you it handles stuff like this no problem. After getting them out of the tight area took them to the chipper. Thankful for our hard working crew that makes it happen every day!
