Donte is a 3 year old Freisan Quarter horse. He has been with me for a week. He started the baby boot camp program and now we are moving to saddle starting. I have ridden him 3 times with a bare back pad just fine no issues. Today finally able to get the saddle on. He dumped my saddle alot this week so we had to take a few steps back. We went over more basics and building confidence. Alot of rope work had to be done so between swing the rope and the saddle last few days my arms are killing me! It has definitely paid off, some times you just need to meet them where their at and s**t will buff out. Proud of this dude! Im pretty smitten myself with his progress. Excited to see what we can do over the next few weeks. Happy he will become a good productive citizen of society! Donte is a big boy now! 😆 🤣
