Finely getting to work on our house.
We need to upgrade our bathroom.
One small problem is it's the only shower we have and Mandy probably not going to shower under the garden hose.
So I made her one in a small out building by my shop. The drains were in place and the walls of the building are block . The roof.... it's there.
It was just never finished back in the 70s.

I was able to use some 100 year old wall boards on the corner storage area.
The glass door, sides of the shower,sink, faucet ,door are all recycled.
My shop is a great place for materials to use in a project like this. I can't seem to throw things away.
The colors are leftover paints from old projects.

I'm not as good as Mandy at painting , so cutting in a long the edges I ended up with a few runs.

My daughter ended up having a foot of water in her house during TS Debbie.
Thanks to family and friends, they got in as soon as they could and stripped the walls and got it dried out .
We pulled up, repaired and put back down all the floors.
Joe (Kelly's uncle) and I replaced the lower half of all the walls with drywall.
This week the drywall finishers will have it ready to paint.
Kitchen package should be in around the 10th and we can install it.
Joe has the tile skills so he's doing her bathroom.
This old house still has some good bones and Kelly loves it.
That flood did her a favor, she gets a new bathroom, kitchen and furniture.

Floor is done and most of the baseboard is done.
