Effective mosquito control takes teamwork, communication, and a commitment to serving our community.

We’d like to introduce the people working behind the scenes and in the field to help provide mosquito control services to Fort Myers Beach:

👤 Brenton — Executive Director
Providing leadership and oversight for the District’s operations and administration.

🦟 Chris — Spray Technician
Working in the field to monitor mosquito activity and perform mosquito control applications.

🦟 Xavier — Spray Technician
Working alongside the team in the field to monitor, respond to service requests, and provide mosquito control services throughout the District.

📋 ShaBro Solutions Corp. — Administration
Supporting the District with administrative services, communications, records, compliance support, and day-to-day coordination.

We are pleased to introduce Brenton, our new Executive Director, and welcome him to the Fort Myers Beach Mosquito Control team.

As Executive Director, Brenton will help oversee the District’s operations, administration, and continued service to the Fort Myers Beach community.

📢 REFERENDUM INFORMATION | NOVEMBER 3, 2026

Fort Myers Beach Mosquito Control is sharing information about the upcoming November 3, 2026 referendum so residents can understand what will appear on the ballot.

The referendum concerns the proposed merger of the Lee County Mosquito Control District and the Fort Myers Beach Mosquito Control District.

If approved by the required voters, the legislation would:

• Expand the boundaries of the Lee County Mosquito Control District to include all of Lee County
• Abolish the Fort Myers Beach Mosquito Control District
• Transfer the assets and liabilities of the Fort Myers Beach Mosquito Control District to the Lee County Mosquito Control District

The referendum is a matter for voters to consider at the November 3, 2026 election. Fort Myers Beach Mosquito Control is providing this information for public awareness and encourages residents to review the official ballot language and election information before voting.

The November 3, 2026 General Election will include the Mosquito Control District Referendum.

📅 Voter registration deadline: October 5, 2026

Residents are encouraged to check their voter registration status and make sure their information is current.

The official ballot language for the referendum is included in this post for voter information and awareness.
