Hi everyone,
I never thought I would be in a position to ask for help like this, but life has taken some unexpected turns, and I’m doing everything I can to hold things together.
Over the past year and a half, my life has been completely flipped upside down. It started with my wife and I separating. Just two weeks later, I lost one of my best friends. In November, I had to move back to Las Vegas to start over from scratch.
I moved in with family while trying to rebuild, and I had my two dogs with me—Lily, my 7-year-old Boxer, and Leo, my 2-year-old Boxer. Unfortunately, while I was away, the dogs got into a fight and my uncle was injured. Because of this, I had to move out.
A rescue was kind enough to give Lily and me a temporary place to stay for a month, which I’m incredibly grateful for. During that time, I also lost my job. Thankfully, my ex was able to take Leo, but Lily is still with me—and she’s my family.
Right now, I’m facing losing everything. My phone has been shut off, my car insurance has been canceled, and my car is at risk of being repossessed. As of today, Lily and I have nowhere to go.
I’m asking for help so I can keep a roof over our heads, get back on my feet, and most importantly, not lose Lily. She’s been my constant through everything, and I can’t imagine losing her too.
