⚡️ 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱.

We recently found four irrigation valves that had been blown apart after a lightning strike.

If your irrigation system suddenly stops working after a storm, it may be more than a tripped breaker or controller issue. Give Davidson a call and let us take a look.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗹𝗲𝗿, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻. ⛲️💦

A geyser like this means something in your irrigation system needs attention, and it’s sending water everywhere except where it belongs.

If your sprinklers are putting on a show, give us a call. We’ll help get them back to doing their actual job.

Don’t wait for dry season to test your irrigation 💧

With all the rain we get during a Southwest Florida summer, your lawn may look green and healthy even if your irrigation system isn’t working quite the way it should.

Poor coverage, clogged or broken sprinkler heads, and other issues can be easy to overlook when Mother Nature is doing most of the watering.

Then, the rain slows down and that’s when those problems start showing up. 👀

Take advantage of rainy season to make sure your irrigation is ready before your landscaping has to depend on it again.

Not sure your system is working the way it should? Give us a call, we’ll help you get it ready for the drier months ahead.

🌧️ 𝗜𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻?

If your sprinklers don't seem to know it's rainy season, it may be time to check your rain sensor.

A properly working rain sensor helps prevent your irrigation system from running when Mother Nature is already doing the watering, helping reduce unnecessary water use and oversaturated landscaping.

If you're looking outside at the rain AND your sprinklers, give Davidson a call. 💧

𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 + 𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 = 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.

We get plenty of rain here in Southwest Florida during the summer, and your irrigation system needs to know when your lawn has already had enough water.

That’s where a rain sensor comes in. 💧

A properly working rain sensor helps interrupt scheduled irrigation when we’ve received sufficient rainfall, helping:

💧 Reduce unnecessary watering
🌱 Prevent overwatering
💰 Avoid wasting water and money
🌧️ Keep your irrigation system working smarter during rainy season

And here’s something you may not know, Florida law requires automatic landscape irrigation systems to have properly operating technology that prevents or interrupts watering during periods of sufficient moisture.

It’s not just a nice feature to have, it’s an important part of a properly functioning irrigation system.

Your irrigation timer may still be set for dry season… 👀💧

A lot of SWFL homeowners forget to adjust their irrigation schedules when the weather changes which can lead to watering way more than your lawn actually needs.

With summer rain showing up more often, running your system too frequently can mean:

• wasted water
• higher water bills
• oversaturated lawns
• unnecessary stress on your irrigation system

Your timer settings should change throughout the year based on rainfall, temperatures, and seasonal conditions, not stay the same month after month.

If you can’t remember the last time your irrigation settings were checked, it may be time 👀

When was the last time you adjusted your irrigation timer?

Brown grass doesn’t always mean your lawn needs MORE water

One of the biggest mistakes we see is homeowners increasing their irrigation time the second they notice brown spots.

But sometimes the real problem is:

• poor sprinkler coverage
• clogged or broken heads
• incorrect spray patterns
• watering too often
• fungus

More water isn’t always the answer, and in some cases, it can actually make the problem worse.

A properly adjusted irrigation system helps make sure water is going where it’s actually needed.

Before you crank up your timer, it may be worth taking a closer look at what your system is doing.

Have you noticed dry spots in your lawn lately?
