We know how hard and hectic life can be. We ourselves have been, in the same place. Looking back, we (Janis and Laura) have a common regret... We do not hav
e as many photographs of our families as we would like to have. Not being the type to just sit back and wish, we decided to do something about it. We decided to take our love for photography, make time for ourselves, and learn new things. The result has been. Many photos of family and friends. Many,many hours spent learning techniques. Many, many, many more hours of going over our work and receiving constructive criticism. We were constantly wanting to try new things, coming up with new ideas, and searching for new subjects. (Really, how many horse and flower pictures can you have?) Our "Common regret" once again, morphed into another idea...

In our sessions we talk, joke, and play. Our job is to catch the true feeling during the moment the shutter clicks. The way your daughters nose crinkles when she giggles. The way dad's hands are shaped when he holds his child. The love and admiration in mom's eyes as she looks at her family. Yes, even the devilish look and grin only your son can produce.
