BNI Spotlight:
Building from the Ground Up with Tim LeMonier

This week at BNI, we had the privilege of hearing from Tim LeMonier of LeMonier LLC, who represents our concrete and excavation seat.

Tim delivered an insightful presentation that reminded us of a simple truth—what’s beneath the surface determines everything built above it.

Tim walked us through the critical elements that ensure long-lasting, high-integrity concrete work. From proper site preparation and soil compaction to understanding the different types of concrete applications, his message was clear: the success of any project starts before the first pour.

He emphasized:

The importance of foundation and dirt prep prior to pouring concrete
Compaction testing to ensure stability and prevent future settling.

Proper joint placement and sealing to maintain structural integrity
How different projects require different concrete solutions and techniques

Tim also shared highlights from his extensive work across the River Valley, including projects at:

🔹UAFS campus parking areas
🔹Devil’s Den retaining wall
🔹Fort Smith Airport retaining wall
🔹Numerous residential subdivision drainage and excavation solutions

His experience spans both large-scale commercial work and detailed residential projects—each one grounded in precision, planning, and pride in craftsmanship.
