Sol, it’s the Latin word for sun. The sun is the most vital source of energy for life on earth. From this massive fiery ball, we receive light. From light, darkness flees. Glass is a unique medium with which to work. It lacks a crystalline structure. It is because of its unorganized form that glass can be worked into virtually any shape. It can be completely transformed! Energy is generated and he

at is produced. Under the right amount of heat, glass becomes workable. This is when the MAGIC takes place! While the glass is viscous, intricate patterns and designs are worked into the beads or glass pieces. Glass is like life in some ways. Like glass, with the proper tools, our lives can also be transformed. Light is what transforms us and there are tools to help us access it. The power to change lies within each of us. Life is hard sometimes and we are going to stumble. Some of us will wander farther off course than others. It is what you do when you stumble that counts! Be transparent like glass. Sometimes our flaws and imperfections can benefit another human being and change the course of their life. Invest in people and show them you care. Be present in everything you do. Spread light. Be the reason someone smiles today! Be Inspired, but most importantly…….be SOLFUL!

“Where?” you ask. “To the FS Farmer’s Market this Saturday of course! I know we will be there and we are definitely looking forward to a good turn out! It’s been way too long.
