**BARLING BOAT SALES TOURNAMENT ANGLERS**

The 2026 championship tournament is in the books!!!!! This 2 day tournament was probably one of the toughest we've had on this trail, but there's always a few anglers that figure them out.....

1st place winners and claiming the 2026 championship title was the team of Mike Rhinehart and Keith Nolan with a 2 day total of 25.55. Congratulations to Mike and Keith on their hard fought and well earned win!!!!!

Finishing in a very close 2nd place weighing in a 2 day total of 25.53 was the team of Kerry and Derek Barnett!!!!!

Taking 3rd place weighing in 23.63 was the team of Leng Yang/Nelson Xion. Leng and Nelson also took day 1 AND day 2 Big Bass honors, weighing in a 3.98 on the 1st day, and a 4.52 on the 2nd day. Congrats to Leng and Nelson on their finish and sweeping BB awards both days!!!!!

Weighing in 21.72 and taking 4th place was the team of Nathan Williams and Lance Wheeler.....

And knocking out 5th place weighing in 20.44 for 2 days was the team of Cole Borsma and Caden Fuller!

Listed below are the finishers and prizes they received for 6th- 9th place, and our 18th and 19th (technically 20th) 2nd tier cash winners also:

6th--Tyler Trent/Brandon Trent, 2 rod and reel combos donated by Infinity Outdoors.

7th--Bryan Taylor/Chad Snow, $100 gift card donated by Barling Boat Sales.

8th--Evan Smith/David Smith, $100 gift card donated by Barling Boat Sales.

9th--Kevin Treece/Dwayne Pschier, 2 oil/lube gift cards donated by Joe's Alma Service Center owned by Joe Moon.

18th--Allen Organ/Tim Organ, 2 tier 1st place winner

19th (20th)--John Olson/Duff Sturgeon, 2 tier 2nd place winner

**BARLING BOAT SALES TOURNAMENT ANGLERS**

We are 2 weeks from our Championship tournament at Lake Tenkiller slated for October 10th and 11th out of Chicken Creek Tournament Landing!

Please see the attached sheet for your takeoff order that was drawn at the Championship meeting! Day 2 this order will be reversed and will start at #36.

We will fish from safelight to 4 PM the first day, and safelight to 3 PM on the second day. All fish must measure 14".

Tournament exemption permit is also attached.....

Please see the picture's of the off limit area's as discussed at the Championship meeting also. Note that the dam area buoys may or may not be in place yet by the Corp, but it is the responsibility of the anglers to understand the off limits areas given, specifically at the dam area from point to point as marked. Chicken Creek is also off limits as discussed, and this area will be marked by tape on each side of the cove, and no anglers are allowed to fish beyond this marked area at Chicken Creek. Once again, it is the anglers responsibility to know and understand these off limits areas, plus all federal, state, and local marked off limit areas also. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!

**BARLING BOAT SALES TOURNAMENT ANGLERS**

This Saturday, July 18th, is our OPEN tournament on Kerr, coming out of Sallisaw Creek, safelight to 2:00 PM, 5 fish limit, everything 14".

Please note that this is an open, and anyone can fish, and fish with anyone they wish. There are no angler restrictions in the Barling opens.....

We only take entry fees at the boat ramp Saturday morning, and takeoff is determined by that order of entry. So get there plenty early! A rule page with a liability form will be handed out Saturday morning when anglers pay to enter. EXACT CASH ONLY, $150!!!!!

**Barling Boat Sales Tournament Anglers**
(apologies to everyone on the late post)

The last tournament of the year at Dardanelle is in the books and it was a hot and muggy one......

Taking 1st place and the win weighing in 19.54 was the team of Mike Rhinehart and Keith Nolen.....congratulations to Mike and Keith!!!!!

Finishing in 2nd place was the team of Ken Farris and Steve Core weighing 18.84.

Weighing in 18.36 and taking 3rd place was the team of Mike Webb and Steve Kelley. Mike and Steve also had Big Bass honors weighing in a fish that scaled 5.62!

Taking the 4th place spot was the team of Ryan Stinchcomb and Bob Stinchcomb weighing in 18.05.

And taking 5th place weighing in 16.41 was the team of Brent Haggard and Darren Overton.

Congratulations to all the winners!!!!

Now, with the regular season having concluded, we want to congratulate 3 teams.....

We want to congratulate Nathan Williams and Lance Wheeler on their win for Team of the Year! They had an absolute stellar year cashing a check in every tournament but 1!

Also, we want to congratulate Jesse Rudd and Kane Inman on the Big Bag of the Year award with weighing in the biggest bag of 21.52.

Lastly, we want to congratulate Will Eckelhoff and Steve Roberts on having the Biggest Fish of the Year weighing in at 6.52.

These 3 awards will pay $1000 to each of these teams at the classic. These awards were made possible by Orr Auto Group. Orr has been a great sponsor every year and this year is no different! We want to thank Orr Auto Group for their continued support of this great tournament trail and the anglers in it! Anglers, if your looking for a new vehicle, shop local and go see Orr and support the group that supports this trail and the fisherman of the river valley!

Also, we would like to thank Global Energy Solutions for their support of the 5th place payout in all our regular season tournaments with reels donated to the 5 place finishing team of each tournament this year. One last order of business is the lake voted for the Classic. The votes are in and we will be going to Tenkiller this year for our 2 day classic on October 10th and 11th! Ramp permit is being sourced now and we will notify everyone what ramp we will go out of as soon as the permit is issued. With this, the Calcutta/Championship meeting will be on September 14th @ 6PM at Barling Boat Sales. One angler from each team needs to be present for this meeting......stay tuned for more details!

July 18 will be our Open tournament @ Kerr coming out of Sallisaw Creek. WE WILL ONLY BE TAKING CASH ONLY AT THE RAMP MORNING OF THE TOURNAMENT. Takeoff will be determined by order of entry at the ramp. If you have any questions whatsoever about this tournament, please contact the store or one of the tournament directors. **BARLING BOAT SALES TOURNAMENT ANGLERS**

Tomorrow is our last tournament of the regular season out of Shoal Bay @ Lake Dardanelle. Take off is from safelight to 3, and all fish must measure 14”. NO PASSING IN THE NARROWS AT TAKEOFF!

ALSO, we will be taking every team’s vote for the championship at weigh-in. If a team isn’t present at the weigh-in, we will contact said team by phone. Every team will have a vote!
