One of our Student Leadership Council members took a trip to Yaffe Iron & Metal Corp to trade in a week’s worth of cans that she and her family collected. In total, she raised $4.90 for the cause, and while that doesn’t sound like much, first imagine how many cans we would save from the landfill while raising money if 100 families did this. That’d be $490 per week, or countless cans and close to $2,000 per month!
