Fear often grows in the unknown.

When something makes you afraid, learn about it. Research it. Ask questions. The more understanding we gain, the less power fear often holds.

And if you are a person of faith, remember that you do not have to carry fear alone. Turn to your own Savior, your own higher power, your own scripture and spiritual tradition for comfort, wisdom, and peace.

Seek understanding. Seek faith. Seek peace.
