Taking a deep breath

A lesson I’ve learned—and now live by:

I no longer spend time with people who don’t make me feel good.
I don’t offer second chances to those who never gave me a first real try.

I stopped recovering from conversations that left me feeling smaller.
I stopped explaining away behavior that consistently left me feeling worse.

I choose alignment with God.
I spend time with people who appreciate and articulate the person God created me to be.

This isn’t hardness.
It’s wisdom.

I choose environments where my spirit doesn’t have to shrink to belong.
I choose alignment—and live there.
