The next few weeks will take me into rooms full of nurse practitioners, business teams, educators, and high schoolers... all curious about what AI makes possible. 🙌

Here's where I'll be:

→ Oct 15: Opening keynote at the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners' Annual Educational Conference in Erie, PA
→ Oct 21: Teaching Claude Fluency (Chat, Cowork, Code & Design) at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne
→ Oct 26: Private AI training with a business team
→ Oct 27: Rotary World Affairs Conference at Purdue Fort Wayne, on AI and the future workforce
→ Oct 31, Nov 7 & Nov 14: Mark Cuban Foundation AI Bootcamps in Fort Wayne with high school students
→ Nov 9: Breakout at the Regional Education and Work-Based Learning Summit, hosted by the Don Wood Foundation and partners: "AI and What's Next: Preparing for a Changing World of Work"
→ Nov 13: Our AI in Fort Wayne community gathering on Education, Workforce + Opportunity, presented with IN AI

Every room starts somewhere different.

Some people will be skeptical. Some are already building. Some just want to know where to click first.

And honestly? That's the best part. Nobody has this all figured out (me included 😅). We get curious, ask questions, and try something new... together.

If we'll be in the same room, come say hi!

And if your team is trying to figure out where to start with AI, let's talk.

I gave Claude access to my voice avatar in Eleven Labs and a link to the Rubik's Cube coach that I built for my son. With no other instructions - no script, no description, nothing - I asked it to build an explainer video on how it worked.

This is what it built. 🤯
Best with Audio on.

Students are writing the story of tomorrow's workforce. But so many see AI as a threat instead of an opportunity.

For a talk I'm doing next month, I got asked what I'd tell students who are scared about their future jobs. Who are resisting AI.

First thing: the fear is valid. I'm not going to pretend it isn't. Change is hard. Things are shifting under our feet. Everyone's.

But... as Leonard Cohen said, it's the cracks that let the light in.

Right now, there are lots of cracks.

The jobs of the future aren't defined yet. Like, not even the titles, let alone what the actual work looks like.

Companies are hiring for roles that don't have names. They're putting "AI" in front of traditional job titles and looking for someone who understands this stuff and can use it in that role.

I'm not talking about Advisors or Trainers (although there's opportunity there, too). I'm talking about designing roles that literally don't exist today.

What if you're a human moments designer? As human interaction becomes a premium experience (and AI gives us more time), you're in charge of how that time gets spent.

What if you're a "what's possible" evangelist who gets to experiment with AI all day and show it to your colleagues to inspire them?

What if your role is the one that actually directs how the AI behaves, interacts, and aligns with the company you work for?

What if?? Keep asking that question. It doesn't matter if it's right or wrong. It matters that you ask it.

Students don't have years of habits to unlearn. With the right skills, this generation can leapfrog roles that exist today.

So I'll be telling the students: you're not waiting to find out what tomorrow's jobs look like.

You're writing them.
You have a say.

That is... if you're learning how to use AI.

People think they're using AI. They're using about 1/1000th of it.

"What AI tools do you recommend?"
I get asked this all the time. Here's generally how I answer:
Me: Claude. (or ChatGPT)

Them: But... what about for editing video?
Me: Claude.

Them: Ok, but for social media management?
Me: Claude.

Them: For branding, building websites, designing and placing ads...?
Me: Claude.

Them: For audio, music, voiceovers?
Me: Claude.

I mean, sure — not without some connectors and know-how. But still. Claude (or Chat) can. do. all. of. that.

And that's the point I struggle to get across. People think they're getting really good at using AI. And they are. But in a "you-don't-know-what-you-don't-know" kind of way.

They're writing text, brainstorming, strategizing, building spreadsheets, generating graphics. Which is great.

But as awesome as those things are... that's nothing.

So before you go shopping for tools, learn your LLMs broadly, and deeply. Learn Claude's full capabilities, spend time there.

I'm in AI all day, every day. And I still feel like I only have a sliver of a perspective on what's possible.

I'll repeat: you don't know what you don't know.

Always and ever with AI.

Don't assume otherwise.

If you want to shrink your "don't know" list, I'm teaching an in-person, 4.5-hour Claude Fluency workshop on October 21. We'll go through all four surfaces of Claude: Chat, Cowork, Design, and Code.

A few seats left.

A one-day, hands-on intensive for building fluency across a broad spectrum of Anthropic Claude features and capabilities.

It is utterly amazing what I can do with AI with just an idea.

Nothing in this scene is a video. It is math: eight wave formulas added together, drawn live by the graphics card in the browser, using three.js and WebGL. The sky, the whitecaps, the underwater, and the sound are all created with code, too.

Created in Claude Fable 5.1 effort: extra.

Experience it for yourself here (best on a desktop): https://claude.ai/artifact/LR2RKSVMoi89ZqVwz5i4kz

I one-shotted a prompt in Claude Opus 5.5 that produced this two-minute, pixel-Mario-style video explaining what AI can do. 🤯

Watch it with audio on... because Claude did that too.

I’m facilitating a 4.5-hour Claude Fluency workshop on Oct. 21—a down-and-dirty, hands-on intensive exploring the range of what this platform can do. (In person only… sorry! 😬)

It's not for the frail. It IS for the fast and eager learners who don't mind drinking from a fire hose.

And thanks to all the recently announced updates, I’m already changing my dang materials!

That’s the world I live in. I love-hate it, lol.

If you’ve been curious about learning Claude's gamut of capabilities, the link's below (but the description is not updated yet - just trust me! lol!):

I’m proud to have brought the Mark Cuban Foundation AI Bootcamps to Fort Wayne, and I can’t wait to welcome this year’s students!

Applications close in just three days—Wednesday, September 30.

This is a chance for high schoolers to explore AI, try new things, and start imagining what they could do with it. We saw students in our 2025 cohort discover things they had never even thought were possible!

The bootcamp is completely free, with all technology, food, and materials provided. Students just need to show up for three Saturdays, ready to learn and have a blast.

Know a high schooler who would love this—or one who’s curious but doesn’t know where to start? Please pass this along to them or their family.

Apply by September 30: www.mc-fw.com

In a deeply serious, highly mature effort to test the newest model's ability to render jello-like textures—reflections, transparency, jiggly movement, the works—I accidentally built a "Jiggle Buddies" game that my son played the entire drive home last night.

It works on mobile and desktop, but it's best experienced on desktop... with sound on. (Tip: if you click one 4 times fast it will pass gas and bubbles come out of its behind - that was my son's idea, I swear.)

And, a parental warning: if two Jiggle Buddies happen to be standing in front of each other when you hit "dance," and if it's the twerking, it can be a bit rated PG-13. 🤭

In my test Claude blew ChatGPT out of the water on this. No question. I'll share the comparison next week, but for now... have a little fun on your Saturday. 😂

The new model of Claude - Opus 5.5 is insane.

Want a glimpse of what it can do? I created this scrolling animation of a monarch butterfly metamorphosis in 30 minutes - without writing a single line of code. AND... every illustration in it, is drawn with code. This is what the future of both creating, and learning looks like.

I'm teaching a class on Claude next month. If you're interested, details are here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1998954632115?aff=oddtdtcreator

A picture book you scroll through: a monarch butterfly's whole life, from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly, acted out on one 3D milkweed plant, with narration.
