Operating Assistant Job Announcement

We, Salween Global Trading, are looking for an organized and motivated operating assistant to join our team. The operating assistant will be responsible for shipping and receiving, or picking products. The operating assistant will also help loading, unloading and stock products. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, lifting 40lbs or over and driving long hours. The operating assistant may also operate forklift, cars and trucks, so a candidate with experience and a valid driver’s license is required.
Operating Assistant Responsibilities
• Pick and deliver products
• Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store products
• Maintain warehouse, company vehicles and other equipment for maintenance requirements
• Assist pack, stock, organize and rearrange products in warehouse
• Assist handle shipping, loading and unloading of products
• Assist safe and clean warehouse by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
• Assist managing inventory
• Assist cleaning office and working areas
• Assist labeling products
• Assist sales and operating managers as needed
• Report to operating manager
Qualification and Requirements
• High school degree or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mon or Burmese
• Able to read and write product labels in English
• Able to pass drug test/background check
• Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds or more
• Able to work night, weekends, and holidays
• Able to drive long hours
• Able to work independently
• Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
