So you know how they will sometimes call you and tell you that your Social Security number is being suspended. That you are somehow being investigated for fraud? It's a lie. It's a scam, and they want money to make this all "go away." The IRS will never suspend your Social Security number. That's not how things work, it's just a number to track your personal information and identity. You did not commit fraud, and these people, are absolutely insane if they think us Americans aren't getting wise to their tricks.

Well, I have word of a new scam I've not heard of yet. If you get a call from someone claiming to be the electric company, claiming that if you don't pay a certain amount within a half hour etc, that they will shut off your electricity. Don't believe this scam, and if in doubt, hang up and call your utility company.
