How-to make edible flowers ⬇️ that can level up your cakes and other bakes! We promise it's way less daunting than it may seem, we promise.

1. Knead your fondant until it is smooth and pliable.  Mix in the colour gel you want. Tip: add in some gumpaste powder to help it harden.

2. Roll out the fondant with a rolling pin. It should be about 1/6" thick.

3. Gently press the flower cutter into the fondant.

4. Press the flower fondant onto the veiner. This adds details onto the petals.  If you don’t have a veiner, you can use an exacto knife.

5. Rest the flower in a round mold. Paint palettes are great for making small flowers, and empty egg cartons are great for getting bigger round shapes.

6.Dust on some colour dust for a more realistic look. Start from the center and brush outwards, or try dusting starting from the outer edge of the petals and brushing it inward. Both directions give the flower a different look.  Tip: Use a round tip, fluffy brush for petal dusting.

7. Use sprinkles for the center for the flower. Play with different number of sprinkles -three beads for a triangle and four beads for a square🌻

Pro Tip from our fave 4 year old cake artist: Always make extras in case of breakage.

✨SWIPE ✨How-to: Fondant Bears⬇️

1.Knead fondant until it's smooth and pliable.  Add brown colour gel.

2. Roll it out with a rolling pin.

3. Cut out one circle with the largest circle cutter. This will be the head.  Cut out one circle with the medium size cutter. This will be the snout. Then make two ears by cutting two tiny circles.

4. With an exacto knife, make a dotted line going down in the center of the big circle.  This ‘stitching’ will give it a cute teddy bear vibe.

5.  With water or edible glue, add on the snout and the ears.

6. Roll black fondant into a tiny ball for the eyes.

7. You can use the black fondant and roll a ball that is slightly bigger than the eyes for a nose or you can use a heart sprinkle.

8. Optional: Press the smallest circle cutter into the snout for a smile😊.
