“What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make”
I became an entrepreneur in 1995 at the age of 15 with only a sixth-grade education.
I didn’t become an entrepreneur because I had some grand idea, invention, or feel a creative passion from within. I did it because at the age of 15 I found myself in a position of having to figure out how to provide for my basic needs and not go hungry.
While my peers entered and graduated from high school I learned of budgets, licenses, insurance, taxes, strategy, and more.
For the last few decades, I have furthered my education, raised a family, and weaved in and out of the corporate world.
In 2019 I decided again to leave the corporate world and focus solely on my business and client base.
Serendipitously also in 2019, my personal story of struggle and survival broke to a worldwide audience of over 10 million people.
For the last few years, I have struggled to allocate enough time to my business and clients while riding this wave of change and transformation for the betterment of women worldwide.
I have known for a while that it is not sustainable to do both for a long period of time.
I am writing to you my beloved clients and friends to let you know that I have decided to step away from my business and focus solely on moving the needle to end exploitation through research advocacy and education. Though my work at the foundation continues to be on a volunteer basis I am confident that soon that will change.
Until then I have accepted a position that will allow me to continue to passionately advocate and support our youth right here in our community as they transition into adulthood and their careers. This will allow me the flexibility to continue working in Resiliency Foundation and provide financially for my family.
I appreciate all the love and support that I have received from all of you over the last few years please know that this is not goodbye.
I'm always just a phone call, email, or text away.
While I will not be accepting any new clients or contracts, if your business needs services, please reach out to me.
I am happy to connect you with one of the fabulous people in my network that can serve all the needs that I did.
If you would like to follow up with the work of the foundation, I encourage you to visit our website and sign up to be part of our email list.
I appreciate your continued support as I step fully into this new role and look forward to keeping in touch with all of you.
With warmest regards,
Genevieve Meyer, MBA

Over the years our business has been involved with many of the entrepreneur events around the region. It has been a pleasure being involved in this exciting arena. We have listened to brand new ideas pitched, dreams laid out, answered questions, and validated frustration.

We know how much more difficult it is for minority-owned businesses to start, let alone thrive.

After listening to so many great business ideas delivered with passion and purpose we decided to try and help even the playing field.
Our business and nonprofit start-up packages and rates make it possible for these dreams to launch.

We believe dreams and fantastic ideas shouldn't die because of where they are born.

We have walked beside many minority-owned small businesses in North East Indiana. We have helped them launch, consulted on the next steps, and recently fought alongside many businesses and nonprofits during this difficult season.
We are proud of all of our clients and our entrepreneurs in our community.
We think that you will be too.

So each week we will highlight a black-owned business or nonprofit in our North East Indiana region.

Some are our clients and some of them we just think are really doing a great job.

So please check them out and please show them some love.

Like their pages, shop from them and tell your friends.
If you have any suggestions for business, please send us a message!

Many of us are using Zoom to stay connected to our teams, clients, friends and even grandma!
Here is some advice on how to keep your virtual space private.

We love that so many people are finding Zoom to be an easy way to stay connected in this time of social distancing, school closures, and work-from-home routines.
