This is great to remember when going through your craft or art room. It’s okay to let go of unfinished projects…or even have someone else finish them for you. Losing interest or time in something means you or your life changed—and possibly for the better ❤️

Some crafters and artists on Etsy will finish your project or even do a custom project with your materials. I did this with an Afghan and am in the process of doing it with collage shadow boxes of my kids newborn items.

Yesterday I completed a huge task—filed all my kids mementos and artwork and set up a file system for new incoming artwork and keepsakes.

No, I will never be able to fit everything into one adorable file boxes you see all over like Insta. Yes, I use plain old cheap banker boxes. And yes I unapologetically use huge expandable files positioned the legal-size direction in those bankers boxes . But all school papers can be filed immediately when they come home from school and I can keep all the items I find adorable and meaningful.

It’s the first weekday after Christmas…and the post-holiday blues and exhaustion have set in. Kids are still home from school keeping things stirred up. If you are stuck in a revolving state of overwhelm and mess-start with the dishes, then sort the laundry and throw a load in, and finish with the the toilet and sink.
