Jakes Indiana Woodworking Custom Woodworking, taxidermy panels and rustic home decor. I have been working with wood since I could swing a hammer. I had found my nitch.

My dad taught me the basics, like using hand tools and eventually power tools. I signed up for shop class in school where I began to hone my skills. A few years ago I got my first hunting dog, a yellow lab. He took me in a new direction and I joined my local Retriever Club and became involved in AKC Hunt Testing. Well, as with any hobby I needed a way to pay for new passion. I needed some things b

uilt around the house, and some equipment for dog training, so rather than buy, I made it myself. Some friends saw my work and they wanted some stuff too. I started building some taxidermy mounts for displaying turkey feathers and some for European Deer Mounts. I now specialize in items related to Hunting and fishing. I also do custom work, So if you have an idea e-mail me and I'll work something up. My shop has full capabilities, including a CNC Router and a laser engraver/cutter so the sky's the limit.
